Our traybakes typically take between 45-60 minutes to defrost at room temperature, while our cakes take a bit longer—so it’s best to let them thaw overnight for best results. If you only need a few slices, you can remove the desired number of portions and keep the rest frozen for future use.
Our cakes and traybakes are frozen immediately after completion to maintain freshness. Once defrosted, they typically have a shelf life of up to 3 days when properly stored, however, the sooner they are eaten, the better they will taste!
To maintain the shape of the portions, it's easiest to remove traybakes whilst they’re still frozen. Simply flex the aluminium tray gently to loosen the portions, then remove the number of portions you need. This method ensures the traybakes retain their perfect shape, ready for defrosting and serving.
Whilst we do not offer free samples, we offer a 30-piece sample box of traycakes and traybakes for £49, with free delivery included. This lets you try a wide variety of our products at a great value before placing a larger order.
