Due to the challenges of delivering to large-scale sites:
Delivery is expected on the date stated but is not guaranteed. We use DPD to fulfil our deliveries. Once your order has been collected, DPD will send you an email containing a tracking link, allowing you to monitor your delivery. A second email will follow with a more specific estimated delivery time.
DPD delivers based on postcode and address, so when placing an order, please ensure your delivery postcode and street address are correct and match your registered business location. We are not responsible for any issues caused by incorrect address details entered at time of ordering. Once an order has been confirmed, we are unable to amend the delivery address due to DPD's terms and conditions. We strongly advise reviewing all order details carefully before completing your purchase.
The contact details (telephone and email) associated with your Wholesale Cakes account will be linked to your DPD tracking for deliveries. Under DPD's T&Cs, you may be required to be on-site to provide your signature to receive your order.
For locations with multiple addresses, DPD may deliver to a central collection point, such as a shared loading bay or delivery room. We cannot be held responsible for lost or misplaced parcels at these locations. If multiple businesses operate from your address, we recommend ensuring that all relevant staff are aware of expected deliveries to avoid any issues.
Wholesale Cakes will assist in tracking delayed deliveries but cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. If you are unavailable to receive your order on the chosen delivery date, the driver will leave it in what they deem to be a safe location. Please note that if you do not specify a safe place, any location chosen by the driver is at your own risk.
We strongly recommend selecting a delivery date when you will be available to receive your parcel, as well as ensuring availability the following day in case of any unexpected local delivery delays. If your order is delayed, it will be delivered on the next working day. For example, if your delivery date is a Tuesday and delivery is not possible, the courier will attempt to deliver on Wednesday instead.
Our insulated packaging is designed to maintain product temperature control for over 48 hours, ensuring that your cakes arrive in a condition suitable for refreezing, refrigeration, or defrosting for consumption. Whilst we can add special delivery requests for the courier, we cannot guarantee that these will be followed.
There are no collections or deliveries on Bank Holidays. If your order is scheduled for delivery just before a Bank Holiday, any delays may mean it arrives later than expected. This is entirely at your own risk, and we will not be responsible for undelivered or delayed goods due to these circumstances.

We cannot accept responsibility for any consignments that are lost or perish due to no one being available to receive the delivery on the scheduled date.
